| "Summer Art Classes - Season Passes" | Classes are 2 - 3 hrs., provide a customized series of art studies of various mediums and subjects (graphite, colored pencils, pastels, watercolor, acrylics, oils, textiles, clay, collage, assemblage, sewing) and offers a flexible schedule, and consists of 1 - 6 students of similar ages, interests!! Register by scheduled private appointment/consultation w/ 30-year 'seasoned' Artist/Art Educator, Owner, Blane Cope. Call (804)784-0910 or email artalacarteva@gmail.com. Limited space is available! 'Reservations' will be posted on our front porch! Schedule: Tuesday mornings - 10 - noon (@ Goochland Parks & Rec's gym, for exercise and art for tots!, free to the public!) Wednesday mornings - 9-noon (pick 2 - 3 hrs.) for boys ages 6 - 12; Wednesday evenings - 4 - 7 pm (pick 2 - 3 hrs.) for adults and seniors (Oils, watercolors, pastels, graphite, charcoal); Thursday mornings - 9 - noon (pick 2 - 3 hours) for girls ages 6 - 12; Tuesday - Thursday afternoons - 1 - 4 p.m. (pick 2 - 3 hrs.) for ages 12 - 16 (personalized studies (i.e., Manga, Midieval, oils, acrylics, etc.) ALSO. .ON MOST SATURDAYS - 9 - 1 p.m. (pick 2 - 3 hrs) for ages 5 - 12!! Season Pass: $90 for five 2-hr. lessons - $170 for ten 2-hr. lessons! Additional hours & reg. price: $10 per hr. | |

Oil painting, for beginners to intermediate, for 2 - 3 hours, between 5 - 8 p.m. At least 3 students must reserve space a week in advance, to secure class, not to exceed 5 students per class, all to enjoy flexibility and professional guidance/training w/ individualized assignments! | "Drop in and Draw" | Explore your natural talents, w/ personalized guidance to learn basic principles to drawing, in various mediums (graphite, charcoal, colored pencils, watercolor, pastels) with introductory assignments leading to personalized projects. Numerous reference books and resources to include scenes/pix of all kinds, professional portrait artist and art teacher, Blane Cope, will steer you in the direction you wish to 'grow' as a 'budding artist', open to ages youth to seniors, w/ no minimum, and pay as you go/'grow'!! | Cost: $20 per class |

Learn the art of cartooning, portraiture, of people/animals; also the art of landscape painting w/ acrylics, watercolor, pastels. Students are introduced to various mediums and are assigned individual projects, based on student interest and skill level. | Fall classes are forming! Build a bird nest, a Mama Bird, eggs and worms to feed her new babies, and then paint them w/ acrylics! Study facial expressions, features, AND make/paint your very own self-portrait, with name in clay coils, can be presented in a shadow box!! Make a memory and learn many concepts! |
